The Tories aren’t indecisive…..they just can’t make their minds up

What a disaster the Conservative Party Conference in Manchester turned out to be for the “government-in-waiting”.

Prior to David Cameron’s yawn-fest speech, where he told the country nothing new and mentioned in passing a few half-baked ideas, that Vince Cable dubbed “Lib Dem lite” – I came across this gem of a video on the BBC News website.

It’s definitely worth the two and a half minutes. Laugh along as various party conference visitors attempt to answer the question “What are David Cameron’s top 5 priorities?” – the question assumes he will become the country’s next prime minister of course.

Clearly, The Conservatives have no clue what they want or more importantly, what is best for this country. If they cannot agree on what the 5 most important priorities are for the next government – why should we, as voters, let them fumble their way around while they try and fix their “Broken Britain”.

Enjoy!

    Hi Steve,
I must have upset Ian Lindley asking questions about him not actually ever having a job except
councillor because I can’t seem to make any comments on his diary page.
If he won’t let me comment that just leaves yourself and Joe Oneil to keep asking the questions on my behalf(I’ll be at work paying my Taxes of course)!!

OK Iain, geez – I know you’ve had a rough week with your terrible conference, but really, trying to cause trouble amongst the Lib Dems is indeed a very low blow (even for you).
How about some plain boring facts:
No Lib Dem candidate has yet been selected for Worsley & Eccles
Richard Gadson is a party approved candidate and would make an excellent MP
Joe O’Neill is a very hard working councillor and would make an excellent MP
There may be others, yet to publicly declare their interest, that might seek selection.
Once the local party has held it’s selection meeting, we’ll be sure your the first to know Iain!

Steve, would appreciate your help, there seems to be a bit of a disagreement about who my Liberal Democrat opponent is. Can you enlighten me please?

Being accused of being indecisive and looking both ways… by a Liberal Democrat! Tragic…
